Sometimes simpler is better, and this was certainly true for Rocksmith. Out of all of the big budget live-action spots, this testimonial pitch rated the highest and showed to be the most effective form of communication with consumers. And what’s not to love?

(A) We filmed out on the Venice Boardwalk and Hollywood Boulevard with all the crazies
(B) There were no law suits
(C) We had free Gibson guitars for 2 days
(D) We got peed on by a bum

If you’re still confused at which is not to love, it’s D.

So it’s finally here: a guitar game that allows players to plug in and ride the lightning, for real. The only part that’s plastic is the pick. Take that – you know who ;P.
